It is imperative that independent carriers make utilizing a credit reporting
agency an integral part of their operations. We recommend using an established
agency to verify financial stability when working with a broker you have not
hauled for in the past. It is also a good idea to check on established
relationships on a quarterly basis.
The most important factor in any transportation credit data is the input
collected from carriers. We can help to improve our industry by reporting
payment information, both the good and the bad. There are several options
available to carriers today. The cost for credit reports will vary between
agencies, as does the data. You can report your credit experiences at no
charge. The following information is provided as a service, and no
representation is made as to the accuracy of information available on these
sites.
