The holiday season has arrived, and at Boise Boys, that means it’s time for the St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees. Every year, spouses and significant others gather together and spend our Girls’ Nights Out working to put together our annual entry for the Festival of Trees. Once again, they did not disappoint! The gals worked extremely hard and were rewarded with a 3rd place ribbon for our tree and an honorable mention for our holiday décor entry.
This year our tree theme was “Making Memories”. With drivers away from home so often, we understand how valuable family time is! The gifts under our tree this year were all gift certificates designed to facilitate family time and making memories. We included an Annual Family Membership to Zoo Boise, an Annual Family Membership to the Discovery Center of Idaho, class time at Boise Art Glass and Fusions Glass Studio in Eagle, and certificates that would allow a family of six to spend an afternoon at Idaho Ice Rink, spend an evening complete with hot dogs and drinks at an Idaho Steelheads game, and a day on the Pepsi Tubing Hill up at Bogus Basin.
As usual, the girls did a fabulous job, and we had a wonderful time creating ornaments. Decorating day is always a blast and there is something satisfying knowing that all of your efforts are going toward a good cause! Thank you to all of the Boise Boys Transportation & Logistics “Elves” who gave time to help out this year. We wish safe travels for all drivers through the winter weather and hope that all find a load home for the holidays!
